I spent my earlier years learning customer service in the hospitality industry including the Four Seasons Hotel and many well-known Seattle restaurants.
An old friend showed me the most basic HTML back in about 2001 and I was hooked immediately. I got a degree in Web Dev, started Rockfish Web Design and began building the requisite gratis sites for anybody and everybody.
As a sole web shop proprietor, I learned to wear every hat including owner, marketer, admin, program manager, project manager, designer, copywriter, web producer and major stakeholder.
Fortunately some people took chance on me back in the day and I started getting paid and this turned into a pretty awesome career.
I still love what I do, my main title is web producer but I have been training in UX/Accessibility and site analysis getting prepped for the next journey either here or abroad.
As it is in marketing, promotions come and go away pretty quickly. The last 4 years at Liberty/Safeco, everything I worked on was agent-facing and only visible to agents. Everything before that has been redesigned or wiped out by a flood of new promotions. Below are a few of the outside projects that I have going.

• Sr. Web Producer / Sr. Analyst responsible for Safeco and Liberty Mutual Insurance companies’ agent-facing websites in Sitecore, WordPress and Sharepoint then migrated WordPress and Sharepoint Commercial Lines sites into Personal Lines platform.
• Coordinated with stakeholders across the organization to produce and publish marketing and informational content to independant agents while ensuring best practices for style, tone and quality for online content.
• Utilized Heap and Contensquare to aalyze site data and reported to stakeholders to guide marketing efforts. Researched implementing Google Analytics as an alternative analysis tool.
Brought in to help migrate PSE into Sitecore with aggressive and firm deadline.
• Migrated PSE.com from legacy Sharepoint site to new Sitecore 9 platform
• Built, configured, and published transactional and support pages
• Closely collaborated with content, dev, design, PM and business teams
• Refactored HTML, CSS and JavaScript within Bootstrap templates
